Each year, MEPA hosts competitive events throughout Ohio. Click on any event below for all available informaiton. We will publish event specific information as each event gets closer. Guard directors: All music should be hand carried by a staff member to the sound engineer’s area. Unit checkin will not accept music.

The letter next to the competitoin name signifies who will perform first that day

P- Percussion will perform first.

G- Guard will perform first.

Contests with a (w) next to the name signify an event that will offer the winds division.

Critique:

Critique will be available for all percussion ensembles in GE and Music. Critique will be available for color guards (no lines, please) in GE/overall and Movement/Equipment. Judges must end their day around 5pm, so we will attempt to get as many guards though as possible. Critique will be held in the Judges Hospitality Room.

A sign-up sheet will be posted outside the critique location aprox. 1 hour before the show begins for directors to sign-up for critique. Approximate start times for critique are listed below. Critique is on a first-come, first-serve basis. If you arrive after your unit has been called, please alert the MEPA representative so you can be called for the next round.
